It's been almost 2 weeks without me writing an entry :( Sorry baby, a lot's been going on. Mommy's trying to put together so many things at once I'm surprised I haven't burned a fuse!

Anyway so, over the past 2 weeks nothing has happened. Well nothing big oh wait a minute...your testing scores not bad...I don't want to post it here but you did really good :)

You got your loft bed another plus. In fact I love that you have it...it just seems so much better now that you have it.

And...Thursday, you have your interview for St. Louis, I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait. I'll be praying really hard for you to get in!!!

Another weekend at Gramz

You know baby, you are the best brother in the world. I knew that you had a big heart and lots of love to give and share but I had no idea just how much love that is. Over these past few weekends at Gramz although I haven't mentioned it, I truly came to realize that you are one compassionate individual.

I am very sorry for not letting you know how much I appreciate you and everything you do to help mom out. I promise to make it up to you!!! I will try to think of some surprise to give you that you deserve.

You still get out of hand and don't pay attention but there are things that go without saying and I need to let you know just how much those things unsaid are "GREAT" and very special to me.

I love you and Isabella is very lucky that she has you for an older brother.

I could've sworn I wrote a journal last week about New Years :( I don't know where it could've gone! Anyway...it is a new year 2008 and we are going to have a great...great year you and I Xaedon.

I'm excited to know what opportunities lay ahead of you Xaedon. I hope you make it into St. Louis, and even if you don't, knowing that we took the time to help better your future is a great way to start off the new year for you.

I haven't set a New Years Resolution yet and maybe we should do it together...you know make a family one and then one for ourselves. I think that would be cool.

Hope you enjoyed your New Years out in Nanakuli. We've missed you here at home but nothing that we can't fix when you get back. Mommy has been spending a lot of time over at Gramz and I'm very glad that I did. Gramz house looks so nice now. And I'm not afraid to walk around in the dark anymore hahahaha... And I just love the bathroom. Can't wait to get a bigger home :)

OOooohhhh Xae,

hahahahhaha, mommy had fun at the Zoo with you, your sister and your cousins. Too bad though Bella can't really understand what "look" means. The only thing I think she saw was the giraffe. And it didn't seem to make her too excited.

So my thankful thoughts for today is thanking God for allowing me to wake up of course. Next is allowing both you and your sister to wake up to spend the beautiful day.

I'm thankful that you were well behaved. And I'm most thankful for your love. :) Anyway, Christmas is here soon. I'm wondering what Santa is bringing ;p

Remember though, you have to be good all year in order to get everything you want.

Ginger Bread

Hey Baby,

So you went to spend your weekend else where which is good. I hope you have a blast at the water park. As for mommy and Bella we went to Gramz to make Ginger Bread houses and trains with Uncle and Aunty them. It was fun. Aunty Bu, Mary and Ola did a train, Uncle Pat, Aunty Po and Marley made a house, and Uncle Trin and Honu made another train. Aunty Shael, Gramz and Niko weren't home but I believe that when mom and Bella came home Niko and Aunty Shael made their house.

I can't wait to do ours and take pictures. Watching them build theres caused butterflies to well up in my tummy and I started bursting with excitement. Oh hurry, hurry baby. Let's make ours. :)

Anyway baby, I'll be seeing you tomorrow. I love you millions!

We haven't yet started our thankfulness so I just wanted to post a little quote of gratitude to help us get started. I know you're feeling a little sick right now with your sor throat but you'll be okay, especially after getting rest and having lots of water to drink.

It's been a week ago or almost a week ago when Thanksgiving was here. I totally forgot to tell you the things that I am most thankful for. So let me begin. I am most thankful to God for giving me this life and 2 beautiful children to share it with. I am thankful for daddy and Grandma guys for sharing apart of my life as well.

When you have time baby, do you think that you can write me up some reasons that you are thankful for? I know that it's way past thanksgiving but there should be no reason whatsoever that you can't figure out reasons that you are thankful.

In fact here's an idea...why don't you and I start something called "counting our blessings" everyday. At the end of each day and before I put you to bed let's share with eachother things that happened through out our day that we are thankful for. It can be about anything. Our friends, our teachers, finding a penny...whatever :)

I think that it's a good thing. Alright let's start it this week Sunday, you know we may just wake up everyday in a happy mood remembering why we were thankful yesterday! Anyway baby, we'll talk about this when you get home from school. I love you!

Hey Baby, it was to my surprise that you've decided to stay with your sister, I'm super stoked. I knew that you had a big heart but honey, this goes beyond having a big heart. This is a selfless act. I'm so proud of you for that.

Selfless means the opposite of selfish. So in other words you gave up your VIP seat at X1 to be with your sister. I just can't tell you how proud I am to be your mother.

Halloween

You better remember this forever :p We had all month to decide what you were going to be for Halloween and you decide last minute. So there we were @ 7pm on Hallow's eve driving over to Waikele to pick up a last minute costume from Party City.

First things first, driving. We get on the freeway mind you and we get stuck in traffic. It took us 1 hour to get there, and it's about 20 miles away. That should've took us at least 15-20 minutes...wrong, not with traffic.

So an hour went by and we're finally pulling into Waikele shopping center and we hit the first stop sign, I look up and I see a line of people around the party city building. I park and as I walked towards party city I notice a police officer at the door directing customers in 5 at a time. WTF?! It was a pack I guess everyone decided to go last minute shopping. So not only did we get stuck in traffic, we got stuck in foot traffic at Party City.

Waiting in line wasn't too bad, it moved rather quickly. Quicker then I expected. So now we're in Party City and it didn't seem to bad, I walked over to the wig section and you my baby needed to stand in line yet again. 30 minutes passed and we're still in Party City, the first costume sold out, the 2nd costume well let's just say we waited for 45 minutes to get it. One entire night just to get you a costume for today!

Tonight as I watched you get ready all excited and anxious to walk around and get a bag of goodies, it hits me, you're only going to have this outfit for one day. We spent all day yesterday waiting in line, waiting in traffic to get to this day knowing that it'll only last for a few hours. And then, in the trash it all goes. Nerve racking. But know this much Xae.

I did it all because I love you, and I would do it again just to see that same excitement in your eyes and that great big smile on your face. I just hope you remember all that I go through to make you happy, let's not forget that giving birth to you was much harder :p

Hey Mr. I know everything, mommy's really going to need you this weekend. For the first time Isabella will be going with you to spend the weekend at Gramz by yourselves. Normally mommy is there but this weekend we have business to tend to.

I know that I don't have to worry because you're a great big brother and you won't let anything happen to her. You love her just as much as mommy and daddy does and you'll protect her like mommy and daddy does the both of you right?! :D

Well...I love you and thank you so much for being that big brother to Isabella. I'll see you both on Sunday after I drop you off on Friday!

So, daddy caved in and got you the HALO 3 you've been wanting. I thought you said you were already going to get one ;p ... see you have to be humble when you speak and learn to speak with love baby not hate.

I'm surprised with you and your attitude change all of a sudden. I know you're getting older and you're beginning to understand a lot more but man baby, sometimes your attitude can be ridiculous. Nevertheless, you are learning to control it and overcome the ugliness which is just showing you are turning into a young man. Well, an old man but young man...you know what I mean!

I sort of need to apologize to you too! I've been extremely tired lately and I'm really sorry. You're still my #1 though and don't ever forget that. I guess going to Kahala mall and stuff had got me all lazy... Anyway, having dinner with you was great and me and you need to do that more often!

It's becoming more of struggle with you everyday. You do have your moments though when life is nothing but happy :) I really mis that Xae, when no matter what happens you could look towards the happier things. For example, when you ask to go here, I say no and you figure out something else to do. Now if you ask to do something, I say no, and you throw a temper tantrum.

It's been scaring me the last few weeks and I'm unsure how to handle this new behavior but I something has to be done. However, I still love you and still believe that you still have that personality within, you just have to let it go!

Xaedon, what you life is about, only you can determine, learning what is right and wrong is up to you. In fact you know that what you've been doing lately is wrong, I really don't have to tell you those things, I shouldn't be telling you those things. I hope you snap out of it soon! You're super smart, you've got a big, and you've always been nice up until well a few weeks ago. Please be nice again :)

At this moment Xaedon, I am unsure what is going on with you. Copping an attitude early in the morning and late at night. It's not a nice thing and for the most part, you are acting this way for nothing. Your troubles may seem big to you at this very moment but trust me, when you get older, temper tantrums like these will cause you to say, "I can't believe I did that!"

I can't express what I'm feeling at this moment and it shouldn't matter right now, all you need to know is that what you have done in the last 2 days is WRONG! It should've never been, and I need to control it before it gets out of hand. You know I love you...you know I would do anything for you, and may be that's why you're acting like this. It's called the "Spoiled Brat" syndrome where you need to have everything your way. And you do, you just don't know it yet.

You are my sunshine baby and days like this I wish I knew what I can do to bring it back! Again baby, I love you forever.

Mr. Bus Pass man :p. How does it feel to know that we trust you a whole bunch to jump on that bus every morning without following you or even walking you downstairs? I shouldn't be so hard on you I know...when I was in the 3rd grade Gramz had us walking to school, but there was 3 of us walking...I never walked alone. So, at least now you know why I'm so cautious of you. You are alone...you don't walk with anyone...and maybe if you did it would be alright for you to walk home from school but not right now honey.

I'm so proud of you with handling "no computer". I know it's pretty tough on you with nothing else to do, but look on the bright side of things baby...we get to play more than we ever have. And...I spend more time with you and your homework then I've done before too!

You are growing up too fast for me baby...all these things you are wanting at an early age makes me feel like I'm losing you. I know that I will in a couple of years, so for now, please slow down for mommy.

Waking up late...

I should be calling you like this..."hey, mr. sleepy head" :) I'm just kidding baby, but you have to admit you have been oversleeping for the past weeks. I mean weren't you just explaining to me how badly you wanted to catch the bus and now you can't even wake up to catch it. hahahahha...classic, very classic of you.

If you're wondering about what I mean when I say classic...well it means that is just like you, to say you want something and totally go in the opposite direction as if you never wanted it to begin with. It doesn't matter though, those things can change as soon as you see them and decide to change them.

So on Wednesday, the last day of school this week is th only day you caught the bus with no problems. That is too much but I really don't mind taking you to school baby, I wouldn't want it any other way. Knowing that I can see you and don't have to worry about the bus catching business I'm fine. My heart is fine and you'll be fine in my hands. You have been for the past 10 years...gosh, 10 years already.

Well...you're at Grams today and you're calling to say you miss home. I don't blame you, we live so far away from everybody and you see me everyday it wouldn't be right if you didn't miss home. Plus I miss your stinky butt too. Daddy does too, he slept in your bed :p that big baby. hahahah...

You are sooo funny baby. You told mommy that you wanted to start catching the city bus to school last week and I was a little hesitant to do so because well, I'm a mother and I'm a little scaredy cat but you're the funniest. You got up late the past 2 days allowing you not to catch the bus.

Hehehehhe...I'm beginning to think that catching the bus is not such a good idea, especially since you love to wake up a little later than you need to.

On another note, daddy did say that it was okay, so maybe this Friday I'll let you catch the bus on your own. I'll walk you downstairs and wait with you for the bus but I won't follow you okay?! Okay!

I love you honey and I know that I can be such a push over by not letting you do things like catch the bus or walk to school...it's just I can't trust the people out in this crazy world. I am though, and I am definitely allowing you to grow up :*( Yes it makes me sad...because my little baby is growing so quickly and right before my eyes.

First Day on the Bus...

Okay, it is definitely NOT your first day on the bus, however it is your "FIRST" day to catch the bus all on your own. And I'm not talking about the school bus, I'm talking about the city bus. Even though mommy was following the bus it was still your first day on the bus alone.

We will do it again tomorrow and for 2 days next week. And then I'll decide it'll be okay. I just don't feel okay with letting you do this all on your own yet. Walking across the street...riding around with no supervision, it kind of scares me knowing that anything can happen. It also scares me to know that you're growing up.

I'll get over it, and pretty soon it'll be apart of your daily routine but not today okay. Don't be in a rush to grow up baby...I promise you, in due time you'll be able to do all the things that the bigger kids are doing. For now, just enjoy the ride :)

Okay today is the 6th and I did say that I would turn your services back on, I've just been too busy today with Bella and Daddy that I really didn't have time to settle myself and make that call.

You know, I'm actually debating about turning your services back on. Daddy says that you're more responsible today but I don't about that. You've gone through 2 phones in less than 6 months and both times your phone broke because you went swimming with it. This time the phone you have is way more expensive and I'm just afraid you'll do the same. Maybe not swim with it, but somehow be careless and irresponsible and lose it or break it.

I still have till Friday to do it, and I will again though like I said you haven't shown me that you are responsible. For instance...your homework :( I won't get into details about that, in fact just mentioning it to you it should ring a bell in your head.

I love you baby, and don't you worry, I will turn the phone back on, you just have to be patient and let mommy deal with this whole phone mess thing, homework and your little white lies.

Camping...

I just can't believe it. It's been 3 weekends that Isabella, mommy, and daddy have spent with you out in Nanakuli camping. That is definitely a long, long time. I think too long. Nevertheless, I had a very nice time with you and Gramz guys. I wish we would've done it sooner but no such luck.

It'll be a while before we go camping again especially since school is starting back up. In fact school is here, you start tomorrow. Your first day in the 5th grade. Gosh baby, you're definitely getting up there in age.

When I look at Isabella, I sometimes wish you were her age, so that I could pick you up and cuddle you. There are so many things that I wish I could back in time and do but I can't, man...time is flying by so fast baby and before you know it, you'll be graduating and going off to college :( I am dreading that day.

I love you my baby and we'll make the most of your life yet. Just wait and see :) I love you forever!

First Family Camping...

I can't believe it but did you know that this past weekend was our first family camping trip ever? I know we would go to the beach and stay for a while but daddy actually stayed this time for 4 days and 3 nights! That's a record hahahahah...

You were mighty exhausted there buster. I don't understand why you give us such a hard time with sleeping baby. If you're tired you go to sleep, when you're hungry you eat and when you're cold you put more clothes on right? Don't fight it next time baby...just go with the flow, close your eyes for a minute and you will be well on your way to sleeping and then waking up feeling brand new like you did on Saturday. I love you!

We're coming out to camp again, this weekend. So mommy will see you there baby. We'll be able to jump off again and maybe see the shark swimming and the sting rays too :) I love you forever.

We have about a month left of summer Xaedon and that's just not enough time. I think soon we'll have home schooling so that you don't have to be away during the day :)

I know that lately it's been mighty, mighty hectic with mommy being busy with Isabella but believe me you are my #1 and always will be, Bella just can't do things for herself right now, but I'm sure when she's able to, the both of you will be too grown and too knowledgable to need mommy as much as you did when you were her age and as much as she needs me now.

I love you millions baby and guess what today is? Today is the day our FAMILY becomes ONE. We are officially the "KAUI'S" :)

Our first trip together Xaedon...it's a big deal for me and you! I haven't been anywhere and neither have you so you can see why it's such a big deal. Kauai here we come.

I am so excited to be spending my first little vacation with you, the beach is a big deal daddy says so we'll definitely have to pack up to swim. Also pictures we need to take pictures so that we can put it in our little scrap book.

Anyway baby, mommy loves you so much and I can't wait till tomorrow. Sweet dreams honey and I'll see you first thing in the morning.

Camping...

Hey Mr. I know you're having fun this time around at Gramz. I know you're out camping but this time it's different. You're not thinking of coming home and going on the computer.

It's your computer I know, but life is much bigger than just games and the computer. You're getting older now and beginning to speak your mind much more. You're also beginning to create a path for your OWN way of living. There's nothing wrong with that, but try not to grow up too fast.

Isabella is growing up kind of quickly too, and even though there is a 10 year difference between the both of you, I know that you will be whom she runs to. You will be her role model or someone that she follows so try not to make materialistic things what you value most.

Make time for yourself, read a book, ask to go out to the park, or ask to do some fun activity out of the house. I don't want you cooped up in the house all day and just waiting till I say okay honey you can go on the computer because that won't happen.

I love you with all my heart, but that doesn't mean that sitting on the computer for hours is okay! I want you to think about that baby...how long is really enough time for you?! When you come with the answer let me know and we will work out a deal okay?! I love you forever honey!

Another Year Gone

CONGRATULATIONS BABY!!! You have no idea about how proud I am of you today! I can't wait to take you somewhere cool for your special occassion. We may not be going there today but trust me, it'll be soon!

As we get older

Xaedon as we get older our responsibilities get greater. We are given tasks that we never had before and we start to do chores around the house to help out. But lately you've been slacking and getting off easily. Thanks to you dad might I add. And it, well...makes my job a little harder.

With you nagging and always wanting things and your sister constantly needing me, I'm not sure what to think. It begins to get a little frustrating. Especially with you not listening and telling me that you know everything.

I hate punishing you, I hate taking things away from you and I really hate scolding you, but if you dont' settle down and start listening as well as helping out I will have no choice but to punish you.

One day when you have children of your own you'll understand. Right now though, you're going to think that I'm your enemy and that I am a mean person. You'll even say it a million times to yourself that you hate me. But know this now, always and forever that you are my son and that I love you no matter what we go through or how mad you are at what you NEED to be doing. I will never stop loving you and I will never stop being your mom.

It's been pretty hectic these past few days baby I know. With your baby sister being so little and you being so big I have to find a way to balance my time. Especially since your dad is way busy trying to get things settled for us.

I just want you to know that even though we're going through so much right now I will always make time for you. Don't you ever feel like you're left behind because you're not. All you have to do is say, "mommy, can I have some of your time?!" And believe me baby, you'll have my full attention.

I just wanted to remind you that you are and always will be #1 baby. You're the first born, the oldest, and the one who will set the standards for the rest of your brothers and sisters. You'll have to be the one to guide them when I can't. You are very much needed baby, always and forever.

Responsibility

Sometimes Xaedon, we all forget things and eventually we get over them. This time though, I want you to learn a little before we move from this forgetfulness.

You have been asking for the past year to have a phone, your birthday was coming up so daddy and I thought that this would be the perfect present for your birthday. So we go out and we get it.

You have been bugging to take it all over with you including the charger...we kept on reminding you that this isn't a thing that you can take lightly and you need to take care of it while you're not home. So you agree and we feel that you are responsible enough so we let you take it...both phone and charger.

You return home with you phone that isn't working anymore, because you went swimming with it in your pocket, on top of that you forget your charger. I know baby, this isn't something you would like to remember but please keep in mind that it's incidents like these that makes us think otherwise when you ask for taking other things elsewhere like your laptop, camera and games.

We love you baby and these things you have are for you. When you're out there and something happens like what happened with your phone, nobody will replace them. So the big thing here is, "Responsibility" It is your responsibility to take care of your own things while you're out of the house. The more you do, the longer we will have your things.

I love you baby, and I really hope you learn from this. I know that you're hurting from the punishment I gave you but again, it's to help you learn from this and hopefully it'll help you to make wiser choices.

I know you felt like you spilt the beans because you told me it was a secret and that you couldn't tell but I think you did just excellent with not saying anything about anything. We are a week early with your birthday wishes baby but daddy and I felt that you should get your present. We were super excited from the time we bought the phone to see what your reaction would be. And now...you're calling me to tell me what time to pick you up from school. You're such a goof.

You have your phone now and it's supposed to be your birthday party celebration this weekend but with your sister on the way anyday now we've figured that we would postpone your birthday party but still continue to take you to the movies to watch Spider Man 3.

Conversations from most 9 year olds consist of "I want this...I want that...Can I have this...can I have that!" 3 days ago I would've agreed wholeheartedly and made no comment but with what you sent to daddy Xaedon I am surprised at your words of praise and encouragement.

Did you know that your email sent was well thought out and quite inspirational for me? You brought a smile to my face and tears of joy! My heart was pounding with pure happiness and you gave me energy to finish the job I set out to do that morning. Which of course was to put your room together and games together and give you your own little privacy.

I loved your email and most of all, I love you! Keep up the attitude baby and you'll definitely go far! You are very intelligent, witty, funny and all the "good" things a persons characteristics could be. You are my everything!

You know honey, you asked mommy if I could wake you up early every morning and I swear every time I try, you are too grouchy to jump up and get the day started.

I want you to sleep...you look so peaceful and it gives me a fuzzy feeling inside but then again, you asked me to wake you and when I do, you start with being fussy.

Speaking of which, it seems we need to get you more shoes huh?! While I was in the shower I could hear you baby, I could hear you fussing with Daddy about wearing shoes : ( You have a whole bunch of shoes and you can't seem to find which ones to wear. Or maybe...just maybe we woke you up too early. Either way we love you and you are almost grown. Too grown to be fussing about shoes.

I can remember you merely capable of muttering words that made any sense...that was not too long ago but way out of reach today.

Anyhow, you seem to know too much these days and your lips are getting swifter as each day passes. It's just so unbelievable sometimes when I hear you start a conversation or when you just want to make a statement. SLOW DOWN honey, don't grow up too fast.

One day, when you look back at this you'll know what I mean and see that what I'm saying. If it wasn't such an embarrassing factor for you, as you say it is, I would write everything down! Like a journal and I mean everything. But I won't...because I love you!

That's the lip part...mom no, you'll embarrass me or that girl looks ghetto...I mean WOW baby, years ago you wouldn't even have known what that meant...today you speak so loosely. At times it's alright but other times you'll just have to know when to hold your tongue.

It used to be fine honey, when you would go to grams but now it's like I'm missing apart of myself when I look at your bed and you're not there, I feel so empty.

Maybe it's because you're my little baby who's growing way too fast for me and I'm afraid that with every blink you'll age a year or maybe 2. You're just growing too fast for me and I wish I could slow the age process down some.

It won't be long before you get friends you'll want to be around 24/7 and then our long nights of dorky conversations will be gone. Our nights of movies and binges will also be gone and I think I'm dreading that moment and that's the reason for me missing you so much.

I've missed 2 weeks and I'm wondering why. Actually not really...mommy has been sick baby and my birthday I've been feeling lousy. So I'm here today making up for the time loss. Where do I begin with what went on?

Now thinking about it, I only missed 1 week!! The week of my birthday, last weekend. So here goes, I know what I want to remember. How handsome you looked.

We went to the Hale Koa Hotel on 02.11.07 which was a Sunday for Uncle Mike's wedding. Daddy was the best man and he looked mighty sharp in his vest, tie and slacks as well as you!

You were dressed from head to toe in slacks and a long sleeve button down shirt and you were absolutely the most well behaved child there, not to mention the most handsome! I truly mean that baby.

You were giving a little attitude in the beginning of the day but that's only because you wanted to wear your heely's to the wedding but the answer was no and you started showing and giving a little lip. Nothing we couldn't get over.

We had a great dinner and great dessert, oh it was so yummy, do you remember?! I do, and then there was the pastor's son that you got a long with. I could go on forever about that day but I won't.

I just want you to know that I remember you looked so grown up and you were so well behaved you made me super proud and you always do. I love you forever and thank you baby, for always finding a way to remind me of how precious you are.

Another week has passed and I tell you, Xaedon has grown into a young man. His wittiness, and intellect has reached a mature level at such a young age. I mean he's not Albert Einstein but he is certainly a sharp one.

I just dropped him off at school and I can't wait to see him again when he gets home. I feel like I miss him so much when he's gone. I mean look at the weekend.

Xaedon goes out for the weekend...and it's been every weekend so far. When he's not around I miss him like crazy. It's so weird because the day he gets home, which is Sunday, he drives me crazy. hahahhahaha, nevertheless, I love him more than he'll ever know.

I believe that I'll write sometime later during the week. I just have this feeling that it'll be a great week for Xaedon. I really hope so!

Just 3 days ago...I went to pick you up from school and I can remember seeing this huge glitch in your eye...it was gleaming. You were super excited as we walked out of the cafeteria heading towards the office.

Do you remember what you were excited about?! You were excited because you added 2 more special occassions to your name. You received your report card...which was great, as always. And you received a certificate from your teacher for outstanding listening skills.

It was such an overwhelming feeling for me to see that look on your face. And you know today...because I could remember your excitement on that day, I was fool of excitement to know that I was getting your special occassion gift.

It's been 3 weeks that you've been asking to get those pair of Automic Heelys...all because you've seen Honu Boy with his...and now you have a pair of your own = D

I love you baby! I am super proud of you yet again for your outstanding behavior at school and at home. I hope you enjoy your heely's baby!

It's 7am and I just thought that I'd let you know that there's no reason for you to worry. School is great and I've heard nothing but great things from your teacher. I am really unsure about your attitude towards school but I'm positive it'll pass.

It is now 2007 and boy oh boy what a handful of surprises our lives have to offer. Xaedon had accomplished a new school grade and a new year for making new friends.

No the school year isn't over but man does he wish it was. He has been complaining about the many assignments of homework plus the amount of class work, he just wants to stop school all together.

So, we've been thinking that maybe our best bet would be to transfer him to another school or have home tutoring. I'm in favor of home tutoring but I'm just not sure yet.

Whatever the outcome maybe for him and his school, I'm sure we aren't just going to pull him out...

Xaedon, school isn't that bad, hang in there baby, you're only 9 and you have another 9 years to go!!! I love you!

New Year Coming Around!

Christmas is over and this is the first year that Xaedon has spent Christmas with his entire family before coming home to us! According to him, he got everything he wanted and knows what he wants for next year already!

Since the day before christmas he's been spending most of his time on his PSP! He has an Xbox 360 that he hardly plays, his laptop, his Xbox and his PS2. Do you know that he's adding a PS3 to his list along with that new Nintendo Wii game. Electronics nowadays are just too much. Every six months something new to get rid of the not so old.

Xaedon, it's getting hard to keep up with the booming electronics economy but with all the love in my heart, I know that we'll do our best to keep you up to date with all this technology. I am not going to promise you everything that comes out, but I will promise that as long as you keep up with your great attitude and school stuff, we'll be okay!

I love you millions and tomorrow it'll be time to blow up all the money we've spent on fireworks. You are definitely a lucky baby...and I am definitely a lucky mom to have you!

A week of silence. It's now Thursday, December 21, 2006 and just yesterday Xaedon started his Christmas break.

He's spending the week with Grandma and the rascal cousins. I miss him today, especially today because I'm wondering about his excitement for Christmas.

We've encouraged him to write his letter to Santa, but he hasn't done so yet so we're still excited to know what's in store.

I love you baby!!! And don't worry about your Bubu on your knee! I'll see you soon enough and so it'll be Christmas, I can't wait to see your face full of contentment with all the great gifts you got from everyone.

I was just going through some of the memories I have of Xaedon and looking at some of the pictures we have when he was much younger! He's so grown up, I wish he could stay small forever.

Xaedon, you are growing too fast too quickly. I love you forever and I'd love it if you would grow slower, your days are moving too fast and every time I blink, it feels like a year went by.

Slow down, and don't be too eager to grow up, you'll soon understand why, but I don't want it to be too soon where life will overwhelm you. Enjoy your years baby!!!

To celebrate Xaedon's birthday we had a celebration at Dave and Busters with most of his cousins, Aunties and Uncles.

He was saddened that his brother and sister weren't able to come but he still had a blast. He did want everyone to be there and for those that were there a million thank yous.

Xaedon, today we have cake for your class, shopping, a hair cut and movies!!! Later we can play your new X Box 360 game: Madden 2006...of course it use to be his favorite but since Kameo he's determined to finish it before going on to play anything else.

About a week ago I received the results for Xaedon's testing for Kamehameha Schools. Although it wasn't the response I was hoping for, Xaedon did very well. Please keep in mind that this is for the 4th grade level.

His test results are as follows:

Sequences: 60%
Analogies: 30%
(Math) Quantitative Reasoning: 92%
Verbal Reasoning-Words: 51%
Verbal Reasoning-Context: 53%

National Stanine Scale - He scored higher than approximately 65% of the students in the nation on the Sequences test.

I am super proud of him although he didn't get in. They were only choosing 4 students from our area and 97 students applied.

Xaedon you are awesome and super smart. We'll get it next time!

I have long awaited your arrival when you were in my belly. I held you tight and sang songs while you were just a little worm = P roaming around and waiting to finally meet me.

On the day you were born, my heart was full of life. I thanked God for you and still do!

You are amazing and so smart. Sometimes I think too smart but it's much better to be that way...don't lose that passion for knowledge.

My Little Baby is all Grown

He's all grown up! I could swear he was just 2! On the weekends he spends time at this Grandmothers house or his dad's house. Either way, when he comes home, he's another year older.

When he's at home he has no responsibilities aside from finishing his homework and brushing his teeth. No chores, no nothing but being a little kid.

We just got home from having dinner. We walk in the door, turn on the lights and here is Xaedon, taking off his knee pads, elbow pads and wrist pads.

Instead of putting them away! He throws them on the bed. I look at him and he says "I know, I'll put it away." Without another word he grabs his pads and puts them away.

He now goes to the bathroom and takes a shower. He comes out smelling all nice and fresh than gives me a hug and a kiss on my cheek. I knew he wanted something.

He says "Mom, can I go on my computer!" I laugh...give him a hug and say sure. For a second I could remember when he couldn't speak and he would be all cuddly on my lap...making baby noises and smiles.

Than it hits me as soon as he dances away from me to go on his computer. My little baby is all grown and getting older every minute of everyday! I miss him = (

You know it's weird how babies grow so fast. I can remember when Xaedon was just crawling, I could've sworn it was just yesterday! And now, he's 8.

Well anyway, 2 weeks ago we were working on one of his projects for school. His assignment was to write an essay of where he would migrate to. I thought, essay? Isn't he only 8?! It's just amazing how fast he's growing.

Well for his essay and to my surprise, he chose Maui. A place that I haven't been to, nor has he for that matter. Anyhow, I asked him what was it about Maui that he has heard about that made him choose Maui. He couldn't tell me.

I asked if he saw something that was apart of Maui which made him choose Maui and again he said no! I couldn't understand it...but, Maui is a place where Norman has lived for a long while, so maybe that's where he got it from.

Moving along...Xaedon changed his mind. Do you know what place he chose?! He chose Germany. Again a place I have never been to, nor has he. But this place he could tell me about. What he's heard and what he has seen to make him choose Germany.

Can you guess what it was?! Probably not...because at first I didn't. He chose Germany because of the castles and knighting schools.

Does that not show his true place...A KING!!! =) By the way, he got an A for this project!

Xaedon-Taulua Mahealani Reyes Pesamino-Kumukoa was born on Tuesday, May 8th 1997 at 5:34pm in Kapiolani Hospital, Honolulu Hawaii. Weighing in at 7lbs 9oz, and being at a length of 21in.

He was born with a small patch of hair, curly and black with the loudest cry of joy I have ever heard. He had the tiniest fingers, and the littlest toes that I can remember with this really cute nose and big beautiful round eyes.

With the first site of Xaedon, I knew instantly that he would be something special. At age 8 now, Xaedon is very responsible and so much more than what anyone would expect from an 8 year old.

His characters are strong and positive, his personality is super sweet and caring. He understands so much and carries himself as if he were a teenager. At times, it scares me to know that he's all grown up at 8 but most times he amazes me with just who he is.

I don't know exactly how to explain it yet, but soon I will be able to put it into words. For now, I will end and continue when I find the RIGHT way to express my words of description.
